Haute Styles Week Inc. ("HSW," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through hautestylesweek.com and our application forms, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone, city, state, country, and mailing address where requested.
- Application details: brand and collection information, product details, portfolios, photographs, resumes, measurements, experience, availability, and answers you provide.
- Uploaded files: logos, lookbooks, product photos, headshots, and model photos.
- Child applications: information about a child ages 6–13 that is submitted by the child's parent or legal guardian, including emergency contacts, authorized pickup adults, and media permissions.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. HSW does not receive or store your full card number.
- Newsletter sign-ups: name, email, and the interest you select.
- Technical data: basic information such as browser type, device, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
To review applications; communicate with you about applications, castings, payments, and events; process payments; plan and run events, including production, casting, and safety; protect the safety of all participants, especially minors; send newsletters and updates you sign up for; meet legal obligations; and improve our website.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with: service providers that run our website, database, file storage, email delivery, and payments (including Stripe); production partners such as venues, hair and makeup teams, and designers, when needed to run an event (for example, model sizes shared with assigned designers); and authorities when required by law or to protect someone's safety.
4. Photographs and Media
HSW events are photographed and filmed. Use of images is described in our Terms of Participation. Images of children are used only according to the separate media permissions given by their parent or guardian.
5. Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Child model applications must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Child application data is accessible only to authorized HSW administrators. Parents may review, update, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by emailing info@hautestylesweek.com.
6. Data Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections, and restricted administrator access to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive identity documents unless we ask for them through a secure process.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep application and event records for as long as needed to run our programs, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, and then delete or anonymize them.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@hautestylesweek.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, and we will honor requests as required by applicable law.
9. International Participants
HSW is based in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. Participants in events outside the U.S. agree to this processing.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The version on this page with its "Last updated" date applies.
